A very merry blessed christmas to everyone!:)
I was randomly blog hopping when I came to this person's blog. Well, I would let the blog author remain anonymous because I didnt get permission from the athour to review any names. The latest post in the person's blog really really touched me.
It was only a very short paragraph but every single word punctuated the emotions in me. Yes, I teared reading the post. The post was actually meant for me, but I think the author had the vaguest idea that I would stumble over it. No, it wasnt a "bad-stuff-behind-my-back" post in case some of you are thinking that way.
It was a very touching post that I never expected from the author. So I would like to express a heart felt "Thank You" to this author. You mean a lot to me even though I dont express it out in words. I am extremely proud of you too.

After much procrastination, I finally got myself to sit down and blog about this:)
So it was, Audrey's farewell. A surprised one!
It was a top secret mission.
*James bond music rolls*
We had to do all the planning behind Audrey's back.
So during cg on the 28th August itself, (a day before Audrey's birthday)
we were so so busy. Last minute calls, sms-es, asking people to bring food.lol. typical us:)
THE plan was actually to meet earlier and we send half of the members to hide somewhere and the other half would be waiting for cg to start. When Audrey arrives there would seem to be only half of the members there and then.... LIGHT OUT and those hiding will come out and go SURPRISE!!:)
Get me?The bunch that were supposed to be hiding. Look at Rach.lol
I was supposed to make a banner. Sadly I'm artistically challenged, so it came out looking, erm.. erm.. never mind. The supposed-to-be-banner-that-looks-more-like-a-card.
Moving on, we had a powerpoint presentation and we went round sharing how Audrey has impacted our lives. The techies at work! You'll most probably not understand their jargons. lol, this cabel that cabel. Deepness..
The go-around-sharing. We tried to make Audrey cry. But sadly, failed:(
A small something from Southern Sheep. It was a planner or something. Forgot what Rach told me..
Wilson praying for Audrey...Group pic!
Feasting time!
And also Audrey's 19th birthday!
Not forgetting combining weird stuff for Reuben to taste. It was ice cream with curry with char hor fun sauce, chicken floss, herbal egg sauce and loads of things I cant remeber...
And he ate it and said it was good=.=
More pictures!
Audrey, Rachel, me:)
I looked kinda weird in all the photos. Must be coming straight from add maths. Brain not functioning well=]
Aww, washing up!
Wilson supervising Kah Heng...
And finally the VIP has some time on her own..
And I got bitten by Daniel's dog.lol:)
wow, this is 1 of the longest post ever..
How time flies. Audrey's been with us through ups and downs and now she will be leaving to Semenyih to further her studies.
And she's leaving tomorrow morning! TOMORROW!!
Sighs, so gonna miss her dearly:'(
All the best Audrey!
Take care & God bless..
This is yet another sad and solemn occasion...

Southern Sheep multiplied:(
Now we have Souther Sheep1 and Southern Sheep2.
*We plan to change our name and NO we're not going with Fluorescent Tube;)
We had our 1st cg last fri, 11/9.lol
The group's much much smaller now.
Icebreaker was the simple "This is a sad and solemn occasion.." game. Everyone couldnt hold on to their laughter so we had to do trial runs and trial runs. The actual game only lasted 2 rounds. lol, we're a bunch of cheerful people:)
Andrew lead worship. Alyssa did the piano. We're going to lack musicians once Alyssa's SPM starts:(
Word was good! Everyone participated. Side tracked a lil to islam, muslim and jihad issues.lol, but it was still fun=)
Makan time was awfully quiet. Everyone just munched on Alyssa's yummy sushi. No one really talked! It was so so so quiet. Then Rach called and Audrey put her on speaker. My goodness me, the other end of the line was so noisy, we coulnt really hear Rach.
But still I love the cell;)
Audrey's leaving soon..
Sigh='(

THE VERDICT
Associated Board Of The Royal Schools Of Music
Candidate: Joshua Khoo
Subject: Piano
Presented by: Michael Tham
Grade: 06
1st piece: Sonata in F (A3)
The opening phrase was musically shaped and overall, some good dynamic olour was evident. Technically, the performance was not always secure and the pulse tended to vary. Balance between the hands can be further considered.
Marks: 22/30
2nd piece: Melodie (B3)
There were plenty of goo musical intentions here. The melodic line can however be projected more and a more legato approach would be ideal. As yet, limited dynamic colour.
Marks:22/30
3rd piece: Rumba Toccata (C2)
A lively performance at an appropriate tempo. Much attention was paid to musical details and the style of the music was well captured. Well done. All mostly in place.
Marks: 28/30
:)
Scales and Arpeggios
Although the structure of the scales were grasped, there were several stumbles and insecure moments. The arpeggios were more secure.
Marks: 14/21
Sight Reading
Difficulty with the notes and rhythm today.
Marks: 10/21
Aural tests
Cadence correct. Errors in all other tests.
Marks: 11/21
Total: 107
Additional Comments:
A pass mark achieved. Well done. I particularly enjoyed your "Rumba Toccata".
Sigh,
I was expecting something better. A merit or higher. Ah well, thank God I passed at least!;)
Epic failure in aural and sight reading. Never expected to ace my Rumba Toccata.lol.
What is done is done, so better results next time=)
